Highlights: Upcoming TFCA Jackson Meeting

The Tennessee Fire Chief's Association (TFCA) will hold their Winter Quarter meeting in Jackson, Tennessee February 15-17, 2012.  There are many important reasons that Tennessee Fire Chiefs should attend.  There is no cost or registration for attending this meeting. Great training, good fellowship, and important updates will highlight this event.

There will be plenty of training including a Train-The-Trainer (T-T-T) course for Introduction to Scene Safety Instructor.  Randy Safer, Regional Director from the NFPA will make a presentation on proposed Fire Sprinkler Legislation and Fire Chief Dewey Woody will present a program on the East Tennessee Tornado's that came through in April of last year.  The different committees will meet to discuss and provide information on Mutual Aid, Safety Concerns, and Legislative Proposals.  It is very important that fire service leaders have both knowledge and input into all of the current issues affecting the fire service. This is one of the best ways to get that information and be involved.

The opportunity to network with other fire service leaders accross the state is invaluable. The Winter Quarter meeting will also host the West Tennessee Fire Chief's Association meeting and "volunteer" training session.  Please join us for this event!  Go to the "Conference & Meetings" tab for additional information.
